It was my joy, honor, and privilege to receive the Grand Prize in the Maya Lyubenova International Haiku Contest earlier this year. Maya was a splendid haiga artist whose work continues to inspire the haiku community and beyond and receiving the Grand Award in her namesake contest is a joy I will always treasure!
